My clue to God controlling the plays fate, is that when Mercutio dies he puts a curse upon the two households. Which also shows that in the prologue when they say that Romeo and Juliet are going to die<span style="color. So I think what Shakespeare is trying to say is that God is given a power to make choices but Mercutio still cursed upon them so Shakespeare is showing that god will accept the death wish and will actually curse upon the 2 Households.

This is a good choice, Wesley. When you quote from a text, the best way to show you’re doing it is to put the actual words of the character into quotation marks.
Mercutio says “A plague on both your houses”
This is the strongest evidence you can find to support your ideas about a text (using a quotation) and is encouraged to be included in every answer.

With an actual quote from the play included – you would be able to say to yourself “job done”.
Almost there!
